Joshua Malher was born and raised in Lafayette, and educated in Indiana schools.  At Purdue University, he graduated with Highest Distinction, and was nominated for Political Science Student of the year in 2005.  At Valparaiso University School of Law, Joshua was a member of Moot Court, and went on to become Associate Justice of Finance for that organization.  He was also a participant in VITA, a group responsible for preparing free tax returns for low-income families in Porter and surrounding counties.
